International Forest School Exchange

In early March 2021, we launched a pilot program in partnership with the Eastern Region Association of Forest & Nature Schools (ERAFANS) with a handful of Forest Schools from around the world. The result was nothing short of incredible! Again in partnership with ERAFANS, we’ll be offering virtual workshop exchange programs in January, February, and March of 2022. The goal of the exchange is to 'show and tell' about practices and policies in our respective nature-based programs, help one another problem-solve, and celebrate all the ways we support healthy child development.

Participating schools will register for either January, February, or March dates. Pricing is on a sliding scale and free for schools in Title 1 areas in the U.S. The exchange takes place online, across our many time zones, for three consecutive weeks. For example:

Session 1: Wednesdays, Jan. 12, 19, 26 from 1-2:30 p.m.
Session 2: Thursdays, Feb. 10, 17, 24 from 7-8:30 a.m.
Session 3: Tuesdays, Mar. 15, 22, 29 from 7-8:30 p.m.
*Exact times will be determined based on participants' needs.

A professional development certificate will be included at the end of each 3-part session. Click below to register your interest.
